REMEMBER YESTERDAY was formed in June 2017 in Middlesex, NJ soon after Vince and Zack’s previous cover band, Taylor Road, disbanded. Zack, who played bass for Taylor Road, left the band to focus on more guitar projects and Vince left soon after. The following month, Vince recruited Jesse on drums soon to be followed by Zack on guitar. Hesitant to ask Tom to play bass, because of his previous successes with Garden State Line, Vince was pleasantly surprised when Tom enthusiastically agreed to join as the final piece of the puzzle. ALL FORMER MUSIC STUDENTS OF VINCE, REMEMBER YESTERDAY was set to rock out for their hometown and venture off to new venues.

After playing a few shows, REMEMBER YESTERDAY quickly found and nurtured its hard rock and jam band vibe. Their tone is set by Zack’s virtuosic progressive shredder style, Vince’s blues rock and 90’s alternative vibe, Tom’s Rasta/funk/jam band grooves, and Jesse’s disciplined and melodic drumming approach. Covering classic to modern rock radio hits, their unique vibe puts a sonic twist to their renditions that are all its own.

After a year and a half, REMEMBER YESTERDAY had become known for inviting guest singers to perform with them. After doing this enough, it became clear that adding a female vocalist was their next move. After several guest appearances, Dana was recruited to fill out and diversify their set list on vocals and acoustic guitar. Dana, also Vince's former music student, brings an indie vibe with vocal styles ranging from jazz, rock, pop, and R&B.

In August 2020, founding member Zack, left REMEMBER YESTERDAY to pursue more regular/professional work in other musical projects. He is succeeded by another Middlesex native, Brian Comiskey who had been the guitar player for the now disbanded cover band, the Imposters. Brian brings a new vibe to the band that is more rhythmic and in the pocket. Less shreds but more banging of the heads! While being the only guitar player for the female fronted band in the Imposters, Brian brings a host of songs and experience to round out our sound even more!
