REMEMBER YESTERDAY: FUN FACTS

  • We chose our band name wanting something nostalgic because of our history and also because we are a cover band that plays classic songs

  • REMEMBER YESTERDAY is also from the chorus of Skid Row’s “I Remember You”...which we have only played twice

  • Zack and Vince were in the band Taylor Road together where Zack played bass and Vince played guitar and sang

  • Dana designed our new logo and is our resident fashionista

  • Vince took a chance and asked Tom to join the band, convinced he would say no, because Tom was already super established in the music scene in his band Garden State Line.

  • Dana sang with RY several times as a guest singer before being officially recruited in December 2018

  • Jesse started out as a jazz drummer

  • Jesse and Vince both graduated from William Paterson University as BM Classical Percussion & Music Education majors...17 years apart!

  • We always talk about writing originals...but haven’t yet.

  • Our ages range 18-19 years apart

  • Vince opened for Tom’s band Garden State Line several times as a solo acoustic act

  • Dana is a triplet with a brother and sister

  • Zack has a bad case of G.A.S (gear acquisition syndrome)

  • Jesse, Zack, Dana, and Tom graduated from the same high school and were all Vince’s students in concert band and various other music classes.

SINCE AUGUST 2020:

  • Brian is a Middlesex Boro native (like everyone else besides Vince) but he's the only guy who wasn't one of Vince's students!...because he's older than Vince... :)

  • Brian had been to many Remember Yesterday shows as an audience member, photo/videographer, and jammed as a guest guitar player.
